New PGA Website is a Great Improvement

The PGA has done an excellent job in re-working their site. Now you can see the play by play of each player as they play their round by clicking on the "P" button next to their name. You can also get hole information by clicking on the "H" button and they have a flag for the country of origin for each player and if you put your cursor over the flag it tells you what country it is. All pretty cool.

My only critisism of the site is that the play by play doesn't update that quickly. It can be quite frustrating to wait to see what happened after they teed off only to have the the entire hole updated at once. I'm sure they'll work that out eventually.

You should check it out.

Can You Beat That Tiger?

Here's a little golf trivia for you while you wait for the President's Cup to start;

History's lowest 18-hole score, so far, came in 1936 at England's Woolcombe course when Alfred Edward Smith turned in an unbelieveable score of 15-under-par 55.

I regularly shoot 55. Problem is I usually shoot it by the 10th hole.

Jason Gores field at the 84 Lumber Classic

Good for Jason! He's had an incredible last few months and he's topped it off with a big win this weekend. He's the kind of guy you just can't help but like. I guess it's because he looks like he's affraid that a any moment someone will tell him he's not supposed to be there and send him home. I hope he continues his run and look forward to seeing a lot more of him.
